Diversity Continues to Dominate College Admissions

Admissions committees across the US have made creating more diverse incoming Freshman classes a major priority, more so than in previous years. Almost every college that releases their data about students who are applying have been more open and transparent. It seems that the more elite a university is (meaning it is more selective with a smaller acceptance percentage), the prouder they are about the cultural and ethnic make-up of the students who get in. As this trend continues, hopefully the educational experience will be more interesting and rewarding for those who attend.
